Your needs are someone else’s resources and your resources are someone else’s needs.
I recently attended Lucid University course week with a community of passionate souls who were bursting at the seems to not only learn, but also collaborate. Imagine creating your tribe from a variety of like-minded people and learning how working together actually empowers each other and facilitates growth.
One of the best concepts I learned during the permaculture course in relation to community was to write down all of your needs and resources and ask the group to share their needs and resources also. It was fascinating to find solutions so quickly within the group. We can and should be applying this to our daily lives.
Fast forward to the weekend once the festival was about to begin and the rain was already on its way and here I was surrounded by community support. Not only had I been gifted so much love and community during the course week, but now within my camp I had a group that made for the most fun adventures in the rain. Collectively we had a ceremonial umbrella revolving door entrance, haha made by me of course. I wanted to bring my energy to the space and make it feel magical. We had more tarps then we could use to keep us dry and warm. We had a temporary kitchen, lounge areas, costumes, food, drinks, warmth, extra blankets, pillows, lights and sooooo much love. It was so inspiring to see this community be built and then turn into villages based on art, healing and love.
I want Cure Designs to be your online community and I want to give support by sharing your needs and resources by means of writing about your stories, your projects and knowledge, your lifestyle and how the community can be involved. Please contact me to collaborate.
