Your needs are someone else’s resources and your resources are someone else’s needs.

Passionate Couple Lives Nomadic Life Developing Eco-Projects

During my stay at East End Eden for a permaculture workshop, I was amazed to meet a group of conscious beings that had true passion and this couple, Shayna and Bryan, well they are something special. From the moment I opened my car door on the property I was welcomed with warm genuine love in the form of a hug from Bryan. Shortly after, I was inside having a conversation with Shayna about East End Eden, eco villages, her story and sharing with her mine. I was immediately lit up by everything she was saying. I knew then I had come to this workshop for so much more than I even imagined. The sense of community and bonds made over this short 2 day workshop screamed to me: WE NEED MORE LOVE AND COMMUNITY! We need to be the educators and listeners the world needs to heal. We need to follow passion and believe in ourselves. Love ourselves more! Here is a beautiful account of Shayna and Bryan’s story.

The Beekeeper’s Baby: Inspiring Mother and Vegan Soap Maker

I love finding artists, crafters and specialty product makers on social media, Instagram being my favorite right now. Rette @thebeekeepersbaby is one of those finds that make me happy, because I love handmade natural vegan products and well she makes vegan soaps that I can’t get enough of. I love making my own products, but soaps have never been a product I found easy or felt like I could properly source the quality of ingredients I would need, so thank you Rette. I also love finding women who are in business for themselves, whether they have a physical place of business, their own website or like Rette, an Etsy account. She is rocking as a mother and wife, while creating self care products for us! I recently interviewed her asking questions about why she makes her products vegan, how her passions have benefited her spending time with the family and what other creative or healthy passions she loves. Check it out. Read more
