I’m a Bath-o-holic Vol. 1

Welcome to my new series all about bath time rituals. I am a huge bath girl hence the “I’m a bath-o-holic” title of this monthly series. I hope you enjoy!

I love soft exfoliation so I always start my baths off with a gentle dry brush routine followed by a head to toe sugar scrub from my personal line. Right now my favorite is Radiance with it’s warming cinnamon, ginger and vanilla.

Spring is a time of renewed energy and the perfect time for a metamorphosis of self. The season calls for a shedding of accumulated stagnation both physically and spiritually to make way for new, expansive energy to flow in. The fastest route for me to deeply connect to the organic flow of nature is to cleanse my body with a 3 day juice fast, followed by consuming cleansing foods and avoiding any sugars or stimulants. I get my lymph flowing more with active workouts, hot yoga, and long hikes in the mountains. During this time, I also open myself up to new opportunities, spend more time outdoors, and implement mindfulness into my everyday routine. All of these practices lift me up, create expansion, and leave me feeling renewed.

Meanwhile, I am so excited to share with you an interview with this lovely goddess, Lillie Claire Love. We met awhile back at a beautiful full moon sister circle in a bell tent in Topanga Canyon. She was leading the mediation and had such a calm spirit, I just had to get to know her more. A few months ago she interviewed me on sacred spaces and now I get to share her response on the topic: Self-Acceptance. Enjoy!

Passionate Couple Lives Nomadic Life Developing Eco-Projects

During my stay at East End Eden for a permaculture workshop, I was amazed to meet a group of conscious beings that had true passion and this couple, Shayna and Bryan, well they are something special. From the moment I opened my car door on the property I was welcomed with warm genuine love in the form of a hug from Bryan. Shortly after, I was inside having a conversation with Shayna about East End Eden, eco villages, her story and sharing with her mine. I was immediately lit up by everything she was saying. I knew then I had come to this workshop for so much more than I even imagined. The sense of community and bonds made over this short 2 day workshop screamed to me: WE NEED MORE LOVE AND COMMUNITY! We need to be the educators and listeners the world needs to heal. We need to follow passion and believe in ourselves. Love ourselves more! Here is a beautiful account of Shayna and Bryan’s story.
