The Essentials – Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving for me has been about tradition, but there are ways to update the old traditions with healthier beautiful essentials for the holiday. This year I have really focused the month of November towards gratitude, keeping choices healthy and sharing this lifestyle with loves ones. Below are some of my Thanksgiving holiday essentials.

Delight the senses | Spiced Pumpkin Candle

P. F. Candle Co offers deliciously scented small batch vegan candles that won’t leave any yucky toxic residue in your home. These candles are my favorite and who doesn’t love spiced pumpkin?

Mindful Meditation | Intentional Holidays

Cassandra Bodzak has some wonderful workshops available focused on mindful eating, meditation and finding your zen during the busy holidays and everyday. I find these methods key in my healing lifestyle and they keep me grounded during the busier stress times such as the holidays.

Curated Tabletop | Rose Gold Selection

Casa De Perrin offers beautifully curated table top selections that you can rent for any event. I am loving the rose gold options for that divine autumn holiday element of design style.

Plant Based Menu | Fuel your guests with nutrition

Ilene, creator of The Colorful Kitchen, offers a simple free guide for a Vegan Thanksgiving. These recipes are a great place to start.

There are plenty of other plant based recipe options I love such as Deliciously Ella’s Sage and Apricot Nut Loaf with Cranberry Sauce or Just Glowing with Health’s Vegan Pumpkin Risotto, both gluten free and delicious.

Gluten Free Dessert | Ginger Apple Crisp

Dahl House Nutrition is setting us up for a seriously delicious healthy holiday, not to mention the wonderful smell that will be coming from the oven from all those organic apples and spices.

Don’t Forget To Share | Eco friendly to-go

Send the nutrition and love home with your guests with some easy to-go boxes. You can even add some gratitude quotes on each of the boxes for an extra special gift.

Happy Thanksgiving! Be sure to share gratitude and love all year long.

Lovingly,

Jessica Cure
